Yep, that's what we've got around here. Gettin' serious about packing for that move. Boxes everywhere. In the bathrooms. In the bedrooms. In the hallways. In the living room. My office looks like a tornado hit. Not that I'm the world's greatest neatnick, but this kind of "organized chaos" makes me extremely uncomfortable.
It was scary enough signing our lives away last Tuesday when we closed on our new home. I've been a Texan since birth, and my husband since age 10, so moving out of state is the biggest change we've ever committed to (short of marriage and having kids). But hey, if it means a chance for a better-looking driver's license photo, let's go for it!
Just confirmed dates with the moving company, so in just over a week the professionals show up to pack and load. Approximately one week later, we should be settling into our new home. Obviously that will take awhile. And unless a miracle happens pretty quick (Lord, are You listening???), we still have this house to sell. So if you know anybody who's in the market for a nice-sized two-story with a gorgeous screened-in back porch (boy, I'm gonna miss that thing!), send 'em our way, will you? Your finder's fee will be lifetime free passes to our new backyard hot tub!
